L UVERNE, AL (March 29, 2012) — Mossy Oak Productions’ DEER THUGS television series on the Pursuit Channel and NuFletch Archery, the Fort Walton Beach, Florida inventor and manufacturer of a revolutionary fletching system for popular hunting and target arrows, have announced a licensing and television promotional partnership. DEER THUGS (Mondays at 9:00 PM EST, Fridays at 4:30 PM and Saturdays at 12:30 AM, Q3-4) is one of the flagship shows of the Pursuit Channel.
After installation, the NuFletch nock/fletching system promises quick indexing for complete arrow clearance, increased strength and penetration and incredible re-fletching convenience – improved accuracy through aft-section technology specific to today’s most popular arrows. NuFletch ferrules are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with milled slots to accept and lock-in several customized vane options. The NuFletch system is currently available for most standard carbon arrows using the RPS system (Spectrum Standard), small diameter arrows like the Easton FMJ and Epic series (Spectrum Light) and standard carbon crossbow bolts using RPS (Spectrum X).
“I’m bad about tearing up arrows. Nu-fletch makes it easy to replace damaged vanes on the fly, even in the field, without losing accuracy,†said Mossy Oak’s Ronnie “Cuz†Strickland, organizer of the DEER THUG team, which consists of Charlie O’Brien, Jimmy Riley, Fred Law, Kevin Burleson and Justin Eakins. “As much time as the entire THUG team spends on the road, having a quick, solid solution to fix damaged vanes is priceless,†concluded Strickland.
Pursuit Channel currently features Mossy Oak’s TURKEY THUGS, DEER THUGS, GAMEKEEPERS, and Inside the Obsession television shows.
Additional Pursuit Channel television show hosts currently hunting with NuFletch systems include: Alex Rutledge (Bloodline), Spook Spann (Spook Nation) and Ken and Rachel Dabbs (Hunt Wicked Close). NuFletch arrows are also featured on the arrows of other notable television personalities, including: Rick and Julie Kreuter, Nate Hosie, Randy Birdsong, Joe Thomas, Jeff James, Chad Ritter, Andy Morgan, Gerald Swindle Tony Smotherman, Troy Ruiz, Mike Pelletier and Leigh and Travis Creekbaum.
