Based out of Central Oregon, Extreme Desire features realistic back-country type hunting for western big game.  As your hosts, Randy and Candy Yow, we hunt mostly on public lands throughout the west, featuring real do-it yourself hunts.  It can get a little extreme at times, but it’s over the shoulder hunting as it really happens. Extreme Desire showcases family, friends, camaraderie, and fair chase western big game hunting!  We are firm believers in fair chase, honesty and integrity.  It doesn’t matter if we are hunting rifle, archery, or muzzleloaders we focus on showing how anyone can plan and enjoy these types of hunts.  Real hunting of western big game is hard to find, and very popular.  We should draw some amazing tags this season and we are positive we will exceed all your expectations. The incredible hunts coming up this year feature everything from family and youth, to ladies and men on rugged backcountry treks across Wyoming, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Arizona.  We are out there in the backcountry hunting Elk, Antelope, Sheep, Mule Deer, and more!  Also this year, Extreme Desire is expanding beyond tv to live events our viewers can attend and more short online episodes. We are a husband & wife team, with an amazing pro staff, that love to hunt and spend time in the great outdoors.  We love backcountry, DIY, public lands hunting and we want to encourage everyone to get out there and reap the benefits of participating in the hunting lifestyle.  As often as we can work with organizations like Hunt of a Lifetime and other charities and share those stories with our viewers.  Our passion, core values, and beliefs are what drive us to share with our extreme desires.

“At the first light of day I stand on the top of the mountain, hearing, the Bugle far below in the misty canyon and the breeze blowing through the tops of the spruce.  Thanks to all who let me be there!  I am alive.” – Randy Yow

Randy & Candy Yow
Randy Yow:  I am 54 years old and was born and raised in the foothills of the Oregon Cascades on the McKenzie River. I moved to La Pine in 1979 and have made my living mostly by building custom homes in and around Central Oregon. My Dad was an outfitter and guide as I grew up, my whole life has always been in the great outdoors. Having been raised around a family full of outdoorsmen and women, where my Father and Grand Father instilled the values, honesty, integrity & respect for the wildlife and land we hunt. I am first and foremost a family man, raising 2 beautiful daughters, and now blessed with grandchildren. My whole family is involved in hunting, and have a love for the outdoors, and have taken  many trophy animals themselves.  I have been truly blessed to enjoy my family and to get to spend so much time with them. I believe in Honesty, Integrity and Fair chase.  I like to hunt big animals, don’t get me wrong, but do not get hung up on the score or trophy hunting all the time. “I still love the hunt”, feel that the Good Lord, Family, Friends and Camaraderie are still number one.

Candy Yow:  Co-Host & Co-Producer of Extreme Desire TV and outdoors media writer, I live in Central Oregon and have spent most of my life outdoors.  Growing up on large ranches and later managing ranches and training horses kept me out in the field most of my life, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.  My life revolves around God, Family, Friends and being outdoors whether it is hunting, fishing, riding or just hiking.  I am a Mom, Wife, Aunt & Grandma (being a Grandma is the best). I appreciate all that the Good Lord has blessed me with, and all the great experiences.  My Husband Randy Yow and I have a Hunting and Outdoor show named Extreme Desire TV, it is Back Country, Western Big Game, DIY, Public lands type hunting, a little extreme at times but it is always real. I write a column for Lady Hunter Magazine, numerous Horse magazines, have published stories in Eastman’s Hunting Journal, and Huntin Fool, member & volunteer for Friends of NRA, RMEF, OHA, and other local and National Conservation groups. I also started NW Ladies Hunting Camp a couple years ago, it is growing rapidly and helping many women gain skills, build confidence and achieve dreams in the outdoors.  My goal is to share the love and respect I have for the Outdoors and Nature with as many people as I can and to help ladies build their confidence and skills in Outdoor activities.
