Orlando, FL (July 10, 2012) â€“ At the opening of the 2012 ICAST convention, Pursuit Channel officially announced weekend afternoon â€œSPORTFISHERâ€ destinations for the networkâ€™s 2013 Q1 to Q2 programming period. The SPORTFISHER initiative (Saturdays 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET) promises to provide content producers with the most affordable, audited, television opportunities available today; to support and expand Americaâ€™s greatest outdoors pastime; and to compliment the networkâ€™s Ranger Boatsâ€™ Primetime Tuesday.
As reported in published audits based on the analytics of Kantar Media, each of the Tuesday night shows within the Ranger Boatsâ€™ Primetime Tuesday bloc reached at least 104,100 homes per week during the first two quarters of 2012. The blocâ€™s top show delivered more than 131,000 households weekly, making it the most-watched fishing show in Pursuit Channel history. Ranger Boatsâ€™ Primetime Tuesday includes: IFA Redfish Tour, Scott Martin Challenge, Hank Parker Outdoor Magazine, Fishing Club Journal, Cabelaâ€™s Fishermanâ€™s Handbook and Fishing Texas.

Pursuit Channel projects that individual shows within the Saturday and Sunday SPORTFISHER schedule may deliver more than 100,000 audited homes per week on average during the Q1 to Q2 2013 period.
