The Flyway Highway Migrates to Pursuit Channel in 2013

Luverne, AL  (November 12, 2012) —  Beginning July 2013, Craig Foster’s iconic waterfowl hunting odyssey, The Flyway Highway, will become the 7:30 p.m. anchor for Pursuit Channel’s Saturday evening Whistling Wings bloc, the original – and only – waterfowl-centric programming collection on outdoors television.

Flyway Highway, one of the longest-running waterfowl-only series in the world, owes much of its success to the show’s gregarious host, Craig Foster. “From the young ninjas who regularly limit on public-land ducks to captains of industry combining business with the rejuvenation of witnessing the wildest game on earth, modern waterfowling remains a character-driven activity,” said Rusty Faulk, CEO of Pursuit Channel.  “And Craig Foster is a wry and capable statesman for that: The rare outdoors TV personality whose relaxed Midwestern enthusiasm bathe his adventures – and the traditional value of modern waterfowl hunting – in warm light.”

Foster and Flyway Highway offer fans more than the metaphysical experience of television.  For reasonable fees, loyal viewers and fellow enthusiasts are encouraged to join Foster on camera, on location, at top waterfowl hunting venues all across North America.

“Craig Foster is one of the true good-guy pioneers who built the model of outdoors television that’s enjoyed by millions of American’s today,” said Dennis Presley of MOOSE Media.  “When you consider how he conducts himself and his business, the integrity with which he cultivates personal relationships with advertisers, you begin to understand how outdoors brands flourish by way of specialty television.  His breakthrough work with Bradley Smokers is a case study for that.

“It is all about his personal commitment to viewers and advertisers,” concluded Presley. “Just ask Foster’s advertising partners for an opinion, or survey the millions of outdoorsmen who’ve followed Flyway Highway for years now.”

The Whistling Wings bloc, including Fred Zink’s Avian-X and The Honey Brake Experience was launched as a Saturday special feature of the Pursuit Channel last July.

Pursuit Channel (www.pursuitchannel.com) is the only audited outdoors television network viewable in every DIRECTV (604 PRST) and DISH Network (240 PRST) home.  MOOSE Media directs sales and marketing for Pursuit Channel.
