Throughout the Lonestar State and just outside its borders, Texas Strong captures and shares the hunting exploits of Hosts Brandon Houston and Keith Rand along with their hunting compadres as they roll through the cactus, mesquite and senderos seeking out the best adventures and wildlife Texas and Mexico have to offer. Through their varying business backgrounds in ranching, rodeo, agriculture and the outdoors, the hosts and crew find a common bond in the outdoors throughout each season connecting viewers with the same sentiments often felt in their very own deer and hunting camps.

While Season 1 of Texas Strong covers an introduction into the series with Brandon and Keith managing for big whitetail, controlling the hog and predator population, and dipping into the exploding exotic market in Texas, this program invites its viewers into a world of authenticity and grit of what it takes to persevere in the art of hunting and land management. From sun up to sun down and often times on into the night, the duo navigates the challenges of chasing down some of the toughest animals in the toughest environments with skill and determination, offering insights into the strategies and techniques often used in a part of the country some would consider one of the last frontiers of the continental US. And when the hunt is over and the meat is on ice, Texas Strong shares a passionate reminder for viewers that a triumph in the outdoors is best celebrated over a cold beer, a hot steak and a campfire with good company.
