Fly Rod Chronicles Joins Pursuit Channel

After 15 successful broadcast seasons, Fly Rod Chronicles with Curtis Fleming (FRC) can now be seen on Pursuit Channel. FRC joins Ducks Unlimited TV, Mossy Oak GameKeepers, Cabela’s Fisherman’s Handbook and dozens of other high-quality television series on Pursuit.  Coincidentally, FRC’s affable host also serves as an expert fly-fishing ambassador for Cabela’s.

Fleming calls Pursuit Channel the perfect fit for FRC, and a win-win for the show’s growing fan base. The network is often included on basic cable, as well as the entire viewership of both DISH Network and DIRECTV, with no extra channels or bundles to purchase.

“Not only are we increasing to four airings per week, but our anchor times are better, coast to coast,” Fleming said.  FRC’s schedule on Pursuit is 9:00 a.m. Tuesdays, 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays and noon Saturdays. West Coast viewers can now catch the show in primetime at 10:00 p.m. PST (1:00 a.m. EST) Fridays.

“We feel this is one of our best seasons coming up,” Fleming continued. “Not only do we cover different regions of my home state of West Virginia – the New River, Blackwater Falls, Glade Springs and Pipestem State Park – but we’re also in Costa Rica, Alaska, Wyoming, New Zealand, Belize and northern California.”

Fleming’s daughters, Laken and Autumn, often co-host the show, and the ladies are excited about finally being able to watch FRC digitally, and share episodes with college friends beyond the confines of a traditional network-only broadcast schedule.  “One advantage for our partners is that we no longer have to wait up to two years to run our shows Sunday mornings on our regional networks,” Fleming said. “With Pursuit as our primary network distributor, we can mix it up and schedule the show across a variety of platforms, including YouTube and others.”

“We’re thrilled, and our audience will be thrilled, to have the FRC crew on board,” exclaimed Rusty Faulk, CEO of Pursuit Channel. “Fly Rod Chronicles is a quality production, absolutely second to none!”
